(I'll give anyone who gets that obscure '80's reference right a quarter. Maybe even 25 cents and a Thin Mint. It's that time of the year, after all!)
So I called El Segundo Parks & Recreation and asked them about becoming the wire-wrapping teacher for their Community Education program. All it takes is filling out a proposal form and submitting it, et voila. I'll be picking that form up tonight.
I'm also waiting to hear back from South Bay Adult School to see if they have room for me. For the first time in memory, they have no jewelry instructor. But they will now, muah ha ha ha.
The Bead Studio has already agreed to work with me on "kits to be sold in class," but of course. It's a win-win for all of us.
Maybe this summer, this humble tiara maker will have more than one classroom!
