High romance and glamour.

Plans with my silent partner fell through today, and instead I spent a quality amount of time in-house in his office. Which might also double as his living room.

It was the most romantic day ever. Here's what happened instead of the planned potluck party:

  • Laundromat time.
  • Firing up my laptop for the fourth time in its existence and downloading Firefox after determining that my laptop does not like Internet Explorer. This morning was day number X of me wondering why I ever bought this silly laptop. Now I'm wondering how I ever got along without it.
  • Joining Wholesalecentral.com.
  • Finally, world without end, joining lynda.com.
  • Reading more of the most patriotic book ever written.
  • Researching cameras.
  • Baking cookies (allegedly for the potluck - golly, what to do now?!).
  • Downloading Quickbooks 2006 and Dreamweaver 2004 to my laptop.
  • Working on two lovely necklaces.
Good God, I adore being productive. As I speak, I'm blogging on my laptop in front of Monty Python being projected against the wall, as my silent partner works on his projects on his computer. It's 11:26 PM on a Saturday. Do I know how to party?!

Meanwhile, my silent partner has surprised me by creating a mutually-beneficial promo for his business-to-be. Because he is made of awesome.
Ignore the boobages, if you can - apparently a lot of girl avatars on Second Life look like this.
