My artistic facet has returned with a passion, y'all! To borrow from the
Artist's Way, the inner artist does not take kindly to being starved. To borrow from a certain wise man I'm dating, "Just get started, and blunder along like everyone else does!"
I took the step today that makes me feel official. I finally populated my Etsy store with my first items!

The mannequin head was painted by my graphic designer (anyone sense a theme as far as who my silent partner might be?) and is named "Bettie" in honor of her wig. I promise anyone who calls ahead of time before dropping in will never actually come face-to-face with Bettie if they prefer. Bettie has been hanging out on my armchair faced in the direction of the TV. For a foam head, she sure knows how to find the best spot in the studio!
This is only the beginning for me as far as my arts. As of this morning, I'm signed up for a class in Beginning Soldering in September, and tomorrow I'm braving the wilds of downtown LA to check out Bohemian Crystal and Michael Levine. If I git me anything good, I'll post pics.
Look to this blog to become active again. I'm gonna have creative adventures, and you're all invited.
Happy beading!
