Lately I've been feeling a lil' depressed about the "progress" of White Peacock. Yes my logo is being worked; yes I've completed a couple of non-tiara pieces; yes I've started shopping for business cards. And the rush of "hey you're opening a new business, can I charge your sales fer ya?!" junk mail began in earnest today, so I am sure White Peacock is on the books as a business somewhere. But I'm not selling anywhere yet. Anyone who knows me knows how much I enjoy lack of efficiency.
But then! I got an e-mail today that a certain store in Pasadena is closing.
Far be it from me to rejoice in anyone's misfortune, but after the ride they took me for when I sold my tiaras there...well, I sincerely hope that the artisans they sheltered find profitable new houses elsewhere.
